Labels Specialist

Overview

Position Summary:

The Labels Specialist will design new assets and perform asset modifications as needed, in accordance with Life specifications and branding. Must be creative and have the ability to multitask on multiple projects in a fast-paced environment. This includes, but is not limited to, data entry and type-setting, image manipulation, art creation or modification.

• Prepare final press-ready label files based on supplied specifications.
• Make text and image edits to various formats of supplied artwork; make supplied artwork production-ready and resolve any artwork issues that arise during production.
• Package and preflight files for release to printers or media partners.
• Provide image retouching, clipping paths and additional image manipulation.
• Prepare images and graphics for online and mobile applications.
• Catalog and reference art and photography.
• Follow a timeline to ensure tasks are completed on time.
• Troubleshoot problems with the creative, print production, IPR, Quality Control teams and vendors.

• BA or AA in Design or a relevant field.
• Proven work experience as a Production Artist, Graphic Designer or similar role.
• Portfolio of completed graphic designs.
• Solid knowledge of the printing process.
• Hands-on experience with Adobe CC.
• An ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
• Creativity with attention to detail.

Associates or better in Graphic Design or related field.

Bachelors or better in Graphic Design or related field.
