As an Orthopedic Surgeon and part of the Musculoskeletal team at Intermountain Health, you will work with a team of healthcare professionals committed to providing quality care and excellent patient experience. In this role you can expect to work at Alta View Hospital; seeing a mix of OR and in‑office orthopedic surgical patients.

• This position includes a sign‑on bonus and relocation assistance (if applicable)
• You will practice at Alta View Hospital
• You can anticipate 2 days per week in clinic, dedicated in‑office and 2 days OR surgical time
• Some patient‑preferred hours will be required with local community travel requirements in the south Salt Lake area
• Orthopedic 1 and 6 call required for level 3 trauma patients; compensation offered for call requirement
• Local ASC with potential to participate

An ideal candidate will have experience or interest with D1 athletics or professional sporting team coverage and completed their CAQ in Orthopedic Sports Medicine.

• Medical Doctor or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine Degree; or equivalent if education is completed outside the United States
• Completion of graduate fellowship medical education training program in Orthopedic Surgery with a CAQ board certification in Sports Medicine
• Graduate education must be obtained through an ACGME or AOA accredited institution
• ABMS or equivalent AOA Board Certification in the specialty(s) or subspecialty(s) of practice
• Fellowship in Orthopedics Sports Medicine and completion of CAQ
• Active Medical Licensure, or in process of obtaining licensure, is required in the state in which physician will practice
• Basic Life Support Certification (BLS) for healthcare providers
• DEA Registration schedules II-V
• Ability to successfully complete Intermountain Health’s credentialing process
