The Division of Pediatric Pathology is based at Primary Children's Hospital on the campus of the University of Utah. The Division currently includes staffing for 8 pediatric pathologists and has a fellowship training program.

Opportunities and mentoring to develop further expertise in specific areas (surgical/molecular, GI/liver, neuropathology, laboratory/transfusion medicine, perinatal/autopsy) are also available, including excellent opportunities for collaborative research with our clinical divisions. We offer flexibility of service distribution depending on needs and interests.

The Department of Pathology has excellent clinical, research, and education programs; operates a national reference laboratory, ARUP Laboratories, and is integrated with the Huntsman Cancer Institute, which provide exceptional opportunities for research and education.
