POSITION

ASSISTANT DECA ADVISOR ~ UINTAH HIGH SCHOOL (Internal Only)

Type: Part-Time, non-benefited position

APPLICANTS MUST BE 21 YEARS OF AGE OR OLDER

Under the direction of the Principal, CTE Director, and DECA Advisor, the Assistant DECA Advisor is to help participating students achieve a high level of knowledge, experience, skill, and self-esteem.

• Ensure every student's learning.
• Ensure students' physical and emotional well-being.
• Help foster a positive school and district culture.
• Improve public support and confidence.
• Perform all essential job duties and responsibilities.
• Assist the DECA Advisor in maintaining the integrity and quality of the Uintah High School DECA chapter.

• Assist the DECA Advisor with planning and preparing for all DECA activities and competitive events.
• Supervise students during activities and events.
• Assist with chapter recruitment.
• Assist with fundraising efforts.
• Other duties as assigned by the DECA Advisor.

• Cover letter explaining clearly how you qualify/meet district expectations for the position.
• Evidence of educator license and applicable endorsements.
• Undergraduate and graduate transcripts documenting evidence of a college degree from an accredited institution.
• A minimum of three letters of recommendation, including at least one from a direct supervisor (does not have to be a current supervisor), which address the candidate's skills at working effectively with students, parents, staff, and community members.

Salary:
Yearly stipend, as per the district Career & Technical Student Organizations Stipend Salary
