Position Details: Assistant Coach for girls’ volleyball. Stipend only. Current teachers under contract with Granite School District do not need to apply.

The incumbent will direct or assist in directing a competitive volleyball program and ensure compliance with UHSAA requirements. The coach serves as a mentor and positive role model for all student athletes.

• Build positive working relationships with students, staff, parents, and community.
• Develop young athletes, fostering team culture, sportsmanship, and academic excellence.
• Provide instruction in volleyball skills and techniques.
• Promote excellence and a winning culture on and off the court.
• Educate student-athletes on safety and injury prevention.
• Understand UHSAA requirements and regulations.
• Maintain program traditions and collaborate with the community.
• Background check cleared through Granite School District.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Current Utah Concussion Training certification through NFHS.

Coaches are required to complete a background check;
Granite School District will cover the cost.
