This position has a 3‑month learning/proficiency period.
As a school nutrition assistant, you will work in an active and exciting school cafeteria team, serving children and faculty Monday through Friday throughout the school year.
Job SummaryYou will need to be active, able to lift up to 50 pounds occasionally, and on your feet for a good part of the shift. You will keep the kitchen and dining area up to health department regulations and will sweep, mop, and/or take out trash as needed. This role involves serving good, wholesome, nutritious food to students, faculty, and parents.
Qualifications- Must love children and be responsible and dependable with adherence to the work schedule.
- Must know what quality food and service looks like and deliver it in a polite, fun, and engaging manner.
- Internal applicants must know how to cashier.
- External applicants must become proficient at cashier within 30 days of being hired. Must have scored 3.0 or higher on last evaluation.
