Security RequirementsU.S. citizenship required; must obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance (DoD Clearance: Secret). Active and existing clearance required after day 1.
Responsibilities- Serve on a team of technical advisors to USAF 388th Fighter Wing and Ogden Air Logistics Complex supporting F‑35A/B/C/F135 operations and maintenance. Provide support for propulsion systems, tooling, material, hardware, software, and off‑board system processes. Work hands‑on with engine, squadron personnel, and OFAC technicians.
- Ensure comprehensive reporting on support activities including aircraft and engine status, flight reports, operational data, engine configuration status and parts consumption.
- Collaborate with internal P&W teams (Customer Support Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Operations Center, logistics teams) to resolve emerging issues while remaining flexible to adapt to constantly changing customer priorities.
- Use self‑initiative and judgment to identify problems, conduct investigations to determine root cause, and coordinate solutions between P&W, the Joint Strike Fighter Program Office, USAF customers, and Lockheed Martin. Coordinate field issues with P&W Site Manager, Engineering, and Logistics Program Management.
- Comply with Environment, Health and Safety (EH&S) requirements and participate in Customer‑Oriented Results & Excellence (CORE) initiatives.
- Travel domestically and internationally as required; may rotate between first and second shift schedules.
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related technical field and 5+ years of engine/aircraft maintenance and logistics experience; or an associate degree with 9+ years of such experience; or an advanced degree with 3+ years of experience.
- U.S. citizenship and ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Experience with aviation maintenance and production information systems; knowledge of gas turbine engine theory and operation.
- Experience in F‑35/F135 production, flight testing, customer support, maintenance, and/or program management.
Salary range: 86,800 USD – 165,200 USD.
