Sentinel - Principal​/Systems Test Engineer

Position

Principal Systems Test Engineer / System Test Engineer – Launch Systems team (T-02 or T-03 level).

Location:

Roy, UT. Supports the Sentinel (GBSD) program.

Relocation assistance may be available.

Secret clearance required t have an active U.S. Government DoD Secret clearance at time of application, current and within scope, with an ability to obtain and maintain Special Access Program (SAP) approval within a reasonable period of time.

• Develop system level test and integration activities as part of the System Test Team.
• Collaborate with other IPTs to define test objectives, verification requirements, data objectives, and verification cases for test activities in the integration labs.
• Develop system level test information, planning, and verification diagrams using Model Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) tools/software.
• Produce architecture models for the lab environment and test configurations.
• Prepare and brief leadership on the test and integration between system segments.
• Communicate effectively both orally and in writing.

• Systems Test Engineer (T-02): 2 years of relevant experience with a Bachelor’s Degree; 0 years with a Master’s; additional 4 years of experience can be considered in lieu of a degree.
• Principal Systems Test Engineer (T-03): 5 years of relevant experience with a Bachelor’s Degree; 3 years with a Master’s; 1 year with a PhD; additional 4 years of experience can be considered in lieu of a degree.

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Engineering or a related technical discipline.
• U.S. citizenship with an Active Top‑Secret Clearance or higher awarded within the past 6 years and ability to receive SAP certification.
• Previous test experience at any level of build (unit, element, segment, etc).
• Experience performing in a Systems/Systems Test Engineering or related technical discipline and understanding of systems engineering principles and processes including test requirements, test plan development and integration testing.
• Familiarity with product integration, regression, and verification testing.
• Knowledge of system integration and test principles.
• Experience developing Test Plans and Test Procedures.
• Experience working in an MBSE environment using software such as DOORS, CAMEO, UML or SysML.
• Knowledge of DoDAF standards and methods.
• Experience operating in an Agile environment using Atlassian tools (JIRA or CONFLUENCE).
• Experience with automated test tools such as IBM ELM Jazz or MATLAB scripting.
• Experience with instrumentation, data acquisition, and data review including post‑test data analysis.
