Position OverviewWe are seeking a Field Service Controls Engineer to support automation and integration projects from programming through commissioning and ongoing customer support. This role is ideal for a hands‑on engineer who enjoys working in the field, solving complex problems, and interacting directly with clients.
Key Responsibilities- Design, program, and implement PLC and HMI-based control systems from the ground up
- Perform on‑site commissioning, startup, and troubleshooting of automated systems
- Support integration of control systems within manufacturing and process environments
- Work with platforms such as Allen‑Bradley (Rockwell), Siemens
, and related technologies - Collaborate with internal engineering teams and customers to ensure successful project delivery
- Diagnose and resolve issues related to controls, instrumentation, and industrial networks
- Provide technical support, system optimization, and training to end users
- Maintain accurate documentation including system configurations and updates
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related technical field
- Minimum 4+ years of experience in controls engineering, automation, or system integration
- Proven ability to program PLCs from scratch and develop HMI applications
- Experience in manufacturing or process control environments
- Hands‑on experience with Allen‑Bradley / Rockwell and/or Siemens platforms
- Exposure to robotics and advanced automation systems is a plus
- Strong troubleshooting and problem‑solving skills
- Excellent communication and client‑facing abilities
- Ability and willingness to travel up to 30%
