Part Time Patient Customer Service Representative

Intermountain Alta View Hospital

Shift: PRN, part time, as needed/on‑call

Customer Service Representative – You’ll help patients check into the Emergency Department, answering questions during registration, working fast‑paced, collecting data accurately, listening compassionately.

• Work on computers and answer phones to intake information in a busy environment.
• Collect and input details correctly between physician and nurse check‑ins across multiple screens.
• Help patients who may be very ill or worried, building rapport and easing anxiety.
• Maintain efficiency in a fast‑paced environment; handle unexpected variations in health plans and coverage.
• Work as part of a supportive team to progress toward career goals.

• High school diploma or GED.
• Excellent customer service experience.
• Good typing and phone answering skills.
• Confident multitasker, quick study with technology.
• Up‑to‑date on vaccinations (including COVID‑19 and annual flu shot).
• Pass a drug test and background check before hire.

Base pay range: $16.12–$23.21 per hour (individual pay determined by role, level, location, skills, experience, education).
