What You’ll DoAs a Patient Support Specialist II, you’ll play an important role in helping patients navigate their healthcare experience. You will:
- Serve as a primary point of contact for patients, providing professional and compassionate support
- Respond to patient questions by phone, email, or other communication channels
- Assist with scheduling appointments, referrals, and other patient needs
- Provide accurate information while maintaining patient confidentiality
- Document patient interactions and update information in healthcare systems
- Research and resolve patient concerns in a timely manner
- Work closely with internal teams and healthcare providers to ensure a seamless patient experience
- Follow established policies, procedures, and quality standards
- Handle sensitive situations with professionalism, empathy, and discretion
The ideal candidate is:
- Experienced in customer service, healthcare, patient support, or a related field
- An excellent communicator with strong listening skills
- Compassionate, patient, and comfortable assisting people who may be dealing with stressful situations
- Highly organized and detail-oriented
- Comfortable navigating computer systems and learning new technology
- Able to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment
- A strong problem-solver who takes ownership of customer and patient concerns
- Professional, dependable, and team-oriented
