Position: Client Relationship Consultant 2 (Banker) - UT-94th South Smith's (38hrs)

Responsibilities

  • Build relationships with customers through multiple channels, including in‑person, by appointment, and virtually.
  • Assess and attend to customers’ banking needs, obtain and process customer and account information.
  • Demonstrate and educate clients on available deposit and loan products and services.
  • Recommend solutions based on each customer’s unique goals and needs.
  • Proactively reach out to and follow up with clients to learn about their financial needs and channel preferences.
  • Identify solutions for new and existing clients by engaging and communicating effectively.
  • Maintain a working knowledge of consumer and business banking products and services, including digital offerings.
  • Provide a consistent optimal client experience, including greeting clients and processing basic transactions.
  • Develop collaborative partnerships with branch team members and partners to best serve clients.
  • Open new consumer and business accounts, complete service requests, and submit credit applications.
  • Proactively educate clients on emerging and self‑service digital products and services.
  • Leverage available resources and technologies to optimize the client experience and deliver operational excellence and accuracy.
Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Minimum 3–4 years of job‑related retail banking experience or equivalent training.
  • National Mortgage Licensing System (NMLS) registration under the SAFE Act of 2008 and Regulation Z; criminal and credit background checks required.
  • Proven ability to build and nurture client relationships through proactive outreach.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to engage and understand clients’ needs.
  • Thorough knowledge of applicable bank and branch policies, procedures, and support systems.
  • Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills.
  • Experience with digital products and self‑service technologies.
  • Capability to identify customer needs and make appropriate recommendations both reactively and proactively.
  • Experience in the financial services industry preferred.
