Role Description

The Finance Manager is a full-time, on-site role based at Axio Auto in Sandy, UT. This role is responsible for structuring vehicle financing and leasing deals, securing approvals with lenders, and presenting finance and insurance options to customers in a clear, compliant manner. Day-to-day tasks include reviewing credit applications, verifying documentation, preparing finance contracts, and ensuring accurate funding packages for financial institutions.

The Finance Manager collaborates closely with the sales team to support deal closing, maximize profitability, and maintain a high level of customer satisfaction. The role also involves maintaining up-to-date knowledge of lending guidelines, dealership policies, and regulatory requirements, while consistently following ethical and legal standards.

Qualifications
  • Experience in automotive finance, banking, or related financial services, including structuring loans and reviewing credit applications.
  • Strong skills in financial analysis, attention to detail, and accuracy in preparing contracts and documentation.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to explain complex financing terms in a clear, customer-friendly way.
  • Proficiency with dealership management systems, finance software, and standard office applications (e.g., spreadsheets, word processing).
  • Knowledge of relevant lending regulations, compliance standards, and best practices in finance and insurance within the automotive industry.
  • Proven ability to work in a fast-paced retail environment, collaborate with sales teams, and manage multiple deals simultaneously.
  • High level of integrity, professional judgment, and commitment to non-discriminatory, customer-focused service.
  • Prior experience in an automotive dealership finance office is preferred; a degree in finance, business, or a related field is beneficial but not required.
