We are seeking a talented, enthusiastic, and experienced Lead Radiology Technologist Instructor to support and lead this new program. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Radiologic Technologist who is passionate about education and student success.

Position DescriptionThe Lead Radiology Technologist Instructor is responsible for all student instruction within the Radiology Technician program in accordance with Charter College policies, procedures, and accreditation requirements.
This position reports directly to the Dean of Diagnostic Medical Imaging Programs
.
- Prepare and deliver lecture, laboratory, and clinical instruction based on the approved curriculum.
- Follow established course outlines, objectives, and evaluation methods.
- Create a positive learning environment that supports cognitive, affective, and psychomotor development.
- Support students in developing professional values and behaviors expected of Radiology Technicians.
- Use a variety of instructional and assessment strategies.
- Monitor student attendance, performance, and retention.
- Provide academic support during scheduled office hours or by appointment.
- Maintain professional expertise and participate in ongoing faculty development.
- Communicate regularly with the Dean regarding student and program matters.
- Secure educational materials and consumable supplies as needed.
- Maintain credentials and certifications in good standing.
- Ensure compliance with catalog and program guidelines.
- Attend required meetings and serve on committees as assigned.
- Perform other duties as required.
- Graduate of an accredited Radiography program.
- Baccalaureate Degree required.
- Current ARRT certification in Radiography (or equivalent unrestricted state license).
- Minimum 2 years of full-time clinical experience in Diagnostic Radiography.
- 3 years of teaching or preceptor experience required.
- Registered Radiology Technician (Required).
- Full-Time | Salary Exempt
- $81,000 – $99,225 annually
, based on experience, education, and qualifications.
- Teach at least one class and one clinical rotation.
- Direct student contact:
20–25 hours per week. - Participate in tutoring, curriculum development, office hours, faculty meetings, and substitute instruction as needed.
- Complete one in-service education session per quarter.

- Bachelors Degree (Required).
- Radiology Technician experience: 3 years (Required).
- Teaching/Preceptor experience: 3 years (Required).
- In-person role.
- Relocation to Sandy, UT preferred prior to start date.
