About This RoleAs a Certified Nurse Midwife, you will join Alta View Women’s Specialists, a team of healthcare professionals committed to providing quality care and excellent patient experience. You will be based at Alta View Hospital campus in Sandy, Utah. We are an established group practice of four physicians and five CNMs. Our CNMs provide comprehensive health care for women, with a particular emphasis on wellness and patient choice.
On an as‑needed basis, the PRN CNM will provide care in clinic, attend births, and round with mother/baby and antepartum patients in hospital. Our CNMs work at the top of their scope of licensure, admitting, caring for, and discharging patients from inpatient care. As a group practice sharing patients, we work in a highly collaborative model, consulting and collaborating with one another on a consistent basis.
With this being a PRN position, hours worked will be variable dependent on patient care and department needs.
Responsibilities- Provide clinical care in outpatient clinic settings.
- Attend births and support patients during labor and delivery.
- Round with mother/baby and antepartum inpatients.
- Admit, care for, and discharge patients according to scope of licensure.
- Collaborate with physicians and CNMs in a shared patient model.
- Work variable hours as needed for patient care and department requirements.
- Current Utah state license as a Certified Nurse Midwife.
- Certification as a Nurse Midwife.
- Utah State Controlled Substance registration.
- Federal DEA Certificate II through V.
- BLS Certification for Healthcare Providers.
- Prior CNM experience highly preferred.
Alta View Clinic – Sandy, Utah
Hours & PayVariable hours (PRN). Hourly rate: $56.76 – $87.59, depending on experience.
