Job Overview

Behavioral Health Associate I – working in a residential treatment center for adults with substance use disorders and mental health disorders. The role supports clients, collaborates with clinicians and medical teams, and maintains a safe, empathetic, and trauma‑informed environment.

• Provide direct supervision and support to clients in a residential treatment setting
• Maintain a safe, structured, and supportive recovery environment
• Monitor client behavior and report observations to clinical staff
• Assist with daily routines and program activities
• Encourage positive coping skills and recovery‑focused behaviors
• Complete accurate and timely documentation

• High school diploma or GED required
• Interest in behavioral health, addiction recovery, psychology, social services, or a related field
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to remain calm and professional in challenging situations
• Reliable, compassionate, and team‑oriented

• PRN (as‑needed) shifts, with opportunities to move into part‑time or full‑time roles for strong performers

• Schedule:
  
  flexible, including day, swing, evening, overnight, weekends; typical 12‑hour or 8‑hour shift
• Pay: starting $16/hour for no experience; $17–$19/hour for experienced candidates; up to two weeks paid training; pay may increase after training and certification
• Driver’s license required
