Job Summary:

The Massage Therapist provides professional massage services to promote relaxation, stress relief, and wellness. Skilled in various techniques, this role focuses on delivering exceptional guest experiences.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform massage techniques based on client needs
• Conduct client consultations to tailor treatments
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation
• Keep records of services provided
• Uphold professionalism and confidentiality
• Recommend additional treatments
• Manage time effectively
• Stay current with industry trends
• Follow facility policies

Qualifications:

Education & Licensing:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Graduate of an accredited massage therapy program
• Valid state license and/or certification

Experience:

• Minimum 1-2 years of experience preferred

Skills:

• Proficiency in massage techniques
• Strong customer service skills
• Ability to assess and customize services
• Commitment to professionalism and ethics

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to stand for extended periods
• Perform physical work including bending, lifting, and repetitive movements
• Lift up to 25 pounds

Work Environment:

• Spa, clinic, or wellness center environment
• Occasional exposure to oils, lotions, and low lighting
• May require evening, weekend, and holiday hours
