Stratus HR is looking for a professional, innovative and detailed individual for our Human Resources Generalist position. If you are looking for an opportunity to expand your human resources knowledge and contribute to a growing company, then this position is for you!
This job provides an exciting opportunity for an individual who aspires to progress in a Human Resources career. The ideal candidate speaks both English and Spanish fluently, has a minimum 1-2 years of Human Resources experience, is willing to work hard autonomously, and demonstrates our company's DNA of taking initiative to solve problems while being coachable, committed, dependable, doers, engaged, humble, innovative, kind, positive, respectful, and trusted.
Duties & Responsibilities- Collaborates with team members in carrying out various human resource programs and procedures.
- Recruits for various positions and coordinates new-employee orientation, pre-employment tests, reference checks, exit interviews, and other recruiting and retention strategies.
- Maintains handbook updates, records, reports and logs.
- Assigns worksite employee training and ensures completion through client reporting.
- Assists with HRIS, time keeping and other systems training and development.
- Performs compensation analyses and researches additional compensation tools.
- Communicates with employees via phone, email, or other messaging platforms.
- Performs other related duties as required and assigned.
- Strong communication and management skills.
- Spanish speaking is desired.
- Outgoing personality.
- Willingness to learn.
- Commitment to company shared values.
- Strong proficiency in technology including Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and CRM.
- Creative ability and writing proficiency.
- Organized, meticulous, and public speaking skills.
- Must be able to maintain confidentiality of all information.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent levels of education/work experience.
- 1
-2 years Human Resources experience preferred.
