Job Description

The HR Generalist Coordinator I provides general HR support to units in the managers' absence, leading and supporting managers and employees across the organization. The role assists in identifying best practices and efficiencies, mentors line managers on HR policies, and supports day‑to‑day HR functions.

Job Responsibilities
  • Create and implement internal HR processes and procedures within Aramark guidelines.
  • Maintain compliance with all applicable employment laws and regulations.
  • Develop and advise on employee motivation and morale programs.
  • Possess strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Listen to employee concerns and use analytical problem‑solving skills.
  • Handle day‑to‑day HR functions including recruiting, staffing, hiring, training, development, coaching, incentives, and disciplinary procedures.
  • Assist in processing payroll.
  • Download data from Time Plus and troubleshoot transmission or equipment issues.
  • Notify department managers of missed punches and errors.
  • Accurately input data corrections, tip allocations, tip charges, housing, vacation, PTO, holiday, and salaried employee wages.
  • Execute additional tasks as directed by management.
  • Follow Aramark policies and procedures, safety, and sanitation protocols.
  • Work nights, weekends or as business demands require.
  • Arrive on time, dressed in uniform.
Qualifications
  • 2–5 years of office or administrative experience, with HR experience preferred; able to maintain confidentiality.
  • Ability to create, plan, and manage creative HR strategies.
  • Knowledge of EEO laws and general HR policies.
  • Proficiency with computer, telephone, copier, scanner, label maker, and shredder.

Physical demands may include lifting, bending, pushing, pulling, extended walking, and standing. Uniforms and/or PPE may be required.
