The Waterford School IT Department is seeking a full-time Helpdesk/AV Technician. The Helpdesk/AV Technician will be responsible for providing Tier 1 hardware and software support for faculty, staff, parents, and students. The Helpdesk/AV Technician will diagnose and resolve problems that include but are not limited to technology involving: laptop and desktop computers, TVs and monitors, printers, mobile devices, networking equipment, and assorted issues with online platforms such as Google Workspace and Canvas LMS.

The Helpdesk/AV Technician will be primarily responsible for setting up, running, and supporting users with assorted AV related presentations in various rooms across our campus. Occasional AV supported events will require after hour work. A motivated, and reliable candidate who is eager to learn will do well in our department.

• 2 years of helpdesk experience
• AV experience
• CompTIA A+ certification or comparable
• Strong familiarity with macOS
• Strong troubleshooting/diagnosing skills
• High attention to detail
• Ability to take direction and work independently
• Ability to communicate effectively with people of all ages/technical levels
• Ability to lift 50 lbs
