Basic Qualifications

• Candidate must have a Secret security clearance with investigation completed within the last 6 years.
• Ability to obtain and retain a DoD IAT Level II certification (Security+, CySA+, or CCNA) within 60 days of hire.
• IT experience in any combination of system, database, or network administration.
• Knowledge of Windows, SQL, and Cisco products.

Operational support role to an active fighter unit; responsible for the security and integrity of the systems that keep F‑35 jets flying, including the Autonomic Logistics Information System (ALIS).

• Obtain and maintain Special Access Program clearance required for program access.
• Travel for military deployments/detachments (ship and/or shore) for extended periods as operational needs dictate.
• Work various shift hours, including weekends, to support customer mission requirements.
• Complete pre‑employment medical exams to ensure capability to deploy to austere environments with limited medical care.
• Interact daily with users and ALIS/LM leadership.
• Perform backups, restores, and disaster recovery of systems, databases, and network equipment.
• Maintain system/database/software/firewall/account configuration and monitoring.
• Install system‑wide software and allocate mass storage space.
• Coordinate with peers, Tier‑2 support, and engineers to ensure smooth, secure operation of multi‑user computer systems.
• Review processes and procedures, collect system operational data for analysis.
• Re‑image laptops, troubleshoot, and perform account maintenance.
• Regularly monitor systems and applications for availability and performance.
• Provide first‑line support for customer inquiries and troubleshooting reported problems.

• Experience troubleshooting applications.
• Account maintenance with Active Directory, Oracle, and CRM.
• Disaster recovery: backups and restores of physical servers, virtual machines, databases, and network equipment.
• Virtual machine management (Hyper‑V / VMware).
• Maintaining/upgrading system hardware and managing rack component startup/shutdown.
• Applying updates, anti‑virus/anti‑spyware updates, and patch updates.
• Red Hat Enterprise Linux system administration.
• Importing/exporting large data volumes.
• Familiarity with Lockheed Martin products and processes, including JSF ALIS hardware and software.

Part‑time remote telework:
Selected employee will work part of the schedule remotely and part at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. The weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process.
