This role serves as the Supervisor of System & Network Operations position is primarily remote, with occasional on-site visits for team‑building, training, and collaborative project work.
ResponsibilitiesLeadership & Operations
Supervise day‑to‑day operations for System and Network Operations teams, including systems administration, SaaS platforms, infrastructure, and network services. Act as an escalation point for complex incidents impacting employees, business systems, and network availability. Serve as a technical and people leader for a medium‑sized team, providing mentorship, coaching, and career development.
Systems & Platform Operations
Provide oversight, management, and technical leadership for enterprise platforms and SaaS solutions such as Google Workspace, Okta, Crowd Strike, and Workspace ONE. Partner with business stakeholders and technical leads to identify, recommend, implement, and support scalable, cost‑effective system solutions. Own application and platform lifecycle management, including budgeting, purchasing, vendor management, renewals, and cost optimization.
Network Operations (Expanded Scope)
Lead and oversee enterprise network services, including LAN, WAN, Wi‑Fi, VPN, SD‑WAN, and cloud networking components. Partner closely with Network Engineering and Security teams to maintain stable, secure, and scalable network architectures. Manage monitoring, incident response, root cause analysis, and enforce operational standards for reliability, redundancy, change management, and documentation.
Strategy, Planning & Delivery
Drive quarterly planning for System & Network Operations, including platform roadmaps, prioritization, resource allocation, and operational maturity goals. Execute and deliver on internal tools and infrastructure vision, charter, and roadmap, including architecture, data flow, integration, and solution design decisions.
Talent & Culture
Recruit, hire, and grow a high‑performing System & Network Operations team. Develop senior technical leaders and supervisors to support organizational scale and operational resilience. Set clear goals, measure outcomes, and hold teams accountable for performance, reliability, and service quality.
- 6–8+ years of enterprise IT operations experience, including systems, infrastructure, and/or network operations at scale.
- 2+ years in a lead, senior, or supervisory role on a technical operations team.
- Hands‑on experience with enterprise systems administration and SaaS platforms such as Okta, Google Workspace, Crowd Strike, or similar.
- Demonstrated experience supporting and operating enterprise network environments (LAN/WAN/Wi‑Fi/VPN) with incident response and operational troubleshooting.
- Experience partnering with network engineers, security teams, and vendors to provide reliable and secure network services.
- Identity and access management (Okta, Active Directory).
- Cloud platforms (AWS) and cloud networking concepts.
- Virtualization and VDI (VMware, VDI technologies).
- Enterprise networking concepts (routing, switching, firewalls, VPNs, SD‑WAN).
- Monitoring, alerting, and incident management practices.
- Service Now or similar ITSM platforms for incident, change, and problem management.
- Strong understanding of enterprise security best practices and experience in security incident management.
- Proficiency in utilizing AI tools to enhance productivity and streamline workflows, or the agility to rapidly master new AI technologies.
- Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to influence across technical and non‑technical stakeholders.
- Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills, including root cause analysis and data‑driven decision making.
- Experience working in fast‑paced, growth‑stage or technology‑driven environments.
- Familiarity with agile project management methodologies and operational delivery models.
- Passion for building resilient, cloud‑first platforms and networks that scale with the business.
