We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Senior Scheduler to join our team and play a pivotal role in the planning and execution of data center projects. As a Senior Scheduler, you will be responsible for developing, maintaining, and monitoring project schedules to ensure the successful delivery of critical infrastructure. Responsibilities- Develop and manage comprehensive project schedules for data center construction, upgrades, and maintenance.
- Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to gather input and ensure alignment on project timelines.
- Monitor project progress, identify potential delays, and propose mitigation strategies to keep projects on track.
- Analyze schedule performance and provide regular updates and reports to leadership and stakeholders.
- Utilize scheduling software to create detailed timelines, resource allocation plans, and critical path analyses.
- Ensure compliance with project requirements, deadlines, and industry standards.
- Facilitate regular scheduling meetings to review progress, address challenges, and update project plans as needed.
- Maintain accurate documentation of scheduling processes, changes, and decisions.
- Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in project scheduling, preferably within the data center, construction, or technology industries.
- Proficiency in scheduling software such as Primavera P6, Microsoft Project, or equivalent tools.
- Strong understanding of project management principles, critical path method (CPM), and resource allocation.
- Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and adapt to changing priorities.
- Certification in project scheduling or project management (e.g., PMI-SP, PMP) is a plus.
- Collaborate with project teams to gather updates and ensure schedules reflect current project status.
- Analyze project data to identify risks, delays, and opportunities for improvement.
- Prepare and present detailed scheduling reports to stakeholders and leadership.
- Coordinate with contractors, vendors, and internal teams to ensure timely delivery of project milestones.
- Continuously refine and optimize scheduling processes to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
