Supervisor, Commercial Property Claims
Job Summary
Seeking a highly skilled and motivated Supervisor, Commercial Property Claims to join a Commercial Claims department. The successful candidate will oversee a team of commercial property claims adjusters, manage claims, and ensure compliance with company standards and regulations.
Compensation Package
- Salary range: $90K-$125K (depending on experience)

- Supervise a team of commercial property claims adjusters, ensuring effective claims adjusting, litigation, and case management.
- Manage a caseload of claims and conduct audits to ensure compliance with company standards.
- Prepare and participate in claim reviews, and assist with training new and existing employees.
- Review claims settlements and liability denials for accuracy, content, and compliance.
- Collaborate with management to hire, train, motivate, supervise, and mentor adjusters.
- Stay updated on relevant laws and regulations affecting claims.
- Promote excellent customer service and maintain effective communication with internal and external stakeholders, including attorneys, investigators, policyholders, agents, and providers.
- Demonstrate proficiency in applying claims and state auditing standards.
The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or an equivalent combination of insurance industry designations.
- A minimum of five years of commercial property claims adjusting experience.
- Supervisory experience is preferred.
- Advanced knowledge of relevant claims statutes and case law.
- Thorough understanding of handling complex, litigated claims.
- Strong knowledge of claims-related terminology.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Strong organizational, time management, and decision-making abilities.
