Associate Underwriter - Construction & Wrap-Up Insurance

The Large Commercial Specialty Department has an immediate opening for someone who can demonstrate the WCF values to join their team as an Associate Underwriter with the Wrap-up Team. This posting is open to external and internal candidates. This full-time, exempt position is based at WCF Insurance's Sandy Headquarters.

• Quoting new business
• Issuing policies
• Issuing endorsements
• Handling renewals
• Working with the audit department
• Putting together and sending out company reports
• Servicing accounts
• Assisting underwriter with requests
• Any tasks that may be required

• Bachelor's degree in business, finance, insurance, risk management, or a related field preferred.
• Prior underwriting experience, preferably in commercial Property & Casualty insurance.
• Experience supporting or underwriting construction-related accounts.
• Experience with wrap-up insurance programs preferred.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Strong computer skills
• Strong organization skills and work accuracy
• Ability to prioritize and complete multiple tasks.

The expected salary range for this position is 58,.00. This salary range depends on experience, education, and location for this specific position.

This position is based in an office environment with adequate temperature and lighting control. There are no known hazardous or unpleasant conditions caused by noise, dust, or other environmental factors. There are potentially high-stress situations that require meeting deadlines.
