Cleanroom Line Lead Weekday (Manufacturing)

Core Functions:

  • Adhere to and reinforce clean room safety and environmental standards
  • Understand production processes and regularly audit for compliance
  • Identify and communicate opportunities for continuous improvement
  • Build and maintain positive working relationships with employees, peers, and managers to ensure effective communication and professionalism
  • Provide clear directions to the team regarding daily, weekly, and monthly expectations
  • Analyze production resource availability to meet daily goals, escalating concerns as appropriate
  • Train or assist in the training of personnel in manufacturing processes
  • Assist in the development and revision of written procedures
  • Ensure materials are available to support uninterrupted production
  • Use ERP systems in accordance with established procedures to maintain production flow and accurate recordkeeping
  • Monitor and audit in-process quality to ensure adherence to specifications
  • Review and complete production traceability documentation
  • Support team members in maintaining high levels of quality and productivity
  • Assign responsibilities to ensure a clean, organized, and well-maintained working environment
  • Conduct appropriate line-clearance activities to maintain product traceability
  • Lead root cause analysis (RCA) activities within production groups to quickly identify and resolve production issues

Background/Expertise:

  • High school diploma or equivalent GED preferred
  • Ability to read, interpret and convey instructions to the team
  • Excellent attention to detail to produce consistently high-quality results
  • Good hand-eye coordination and mechanical aptitude
  • Competency in using computer systems including Microsoft Teams and Outlook

Physical Demands and Work Environment:

  • Regularly required to sit, stand and walk
  • Ability to regularly lift, push or pull up to 30 lbs
  • Ability to occasionally bend, twist and kneel
  • Ability to frequently perform repetitive motions
  • Proficiency in using a microscope
