Filterbuy, a leader in the air quality and manufacturing world, is seeking a skilled and detail‑oriented Shipping Team Lead to drive our operational efficiency and ensure the seamless fulfillment of customer orders.
This position will help support the team wherever needed: prepare orders, pull material, pack boxes, load orders onto trucks, etc.

This role will report to the Shipping Supervisor in Ogden, UT. Monday through Thursday, 10‑hour shifts.
Responsibilities- Lead, train, and evaluate shipping team members, fostering a positive work environment.
- Assign and oversee daily shipping tasks to meet business needs and productivity goals.
- Troubleshoot issues related to shipping and equipment.
- Ensure team members follow all safety procedures and company policies and conduct safety audits of the shipping area.
- Read and comprehend instructions and follow established procedures.
- Scan and sort outgoing orders.
- Prepare orders by processing requests; picking; packing boxes; loading orders into trucks.
- Maintain equipment in good condition.
- Report on issues, malfunction, or defective parts.
- Strong sense of time management and urgency.
- Working collaboratively with other members and independently.
- Ensure a safe and clean work environment by keeping shelves, packing area, and workstations neat; maintaining clean shipping supply area; complying with procedures, rules, and regulations.
- Assist in training new hires.
- Other tasks as assigned.
- Proven experience as a team lead or a similar role in a shipping, warehouse, or logistics environment.
- Strong leadership, decision‑making, and communication skills.
- Proficient knowledge of shipping procedures, protocols, and regulations.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast‑paced environment.
- Dedication to ensuring customer satisfaction and upholding team performance standards.
- Ability to use tools and machines.
- Basic computer skills required.
- Good understanding of quality control principles.
- Manual dexterity and hand‑eye coordination.
- Excellent time‑management skills.
- Willing and able to perform repetitive tasks for extended periods.
- Adherence to health and safety regulations (e.g. constant use of protective gear).
- Willingness to learn and adapt to new processes and procedures.
- Prolonged periods working on feet (10‑hr shifts) and performing repetitive actions that entail frequent grasping, bending, walking, reaching, twisting, and pivoting.
- Consistently stretch/ reach with both hands and arms.
- Dexterity and hand‑eye coordination, including the ability to grasp, manipulate, and box filters.
- Ability to bend, squat, and lift frequently.
- Lift up to 40 pounds, frequently.
- The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
