Responsibilities

* Operate multiple processes on high-speed automated or semi-automated manufacturing equipment.

* Participate in all equipment changeovers or setups.

* Monitor assigned processes to ensure high-quality production.

* Remove defective product from automated or semi-automated processes.

* Conduct on-the-job training for other associates.

* Participate in self-directed work responsibilities including attendance, scheduling, compliance audits, etc.

* Maintain equipment and cleanliness by sweeping, mopping, and wiping down equipment.

* Maintain open communication to ensure timely resolution of problems or changes.

* Maintain records and documentation as required.

* Determine the cause of quality issues and take appropriate action per task documents.

* Perform Process Control Operator duties as needed.

* Work overtime as required by the department.

* Actively participate in Continuous Improvement activities including 5S, blitzes, Shift Start-up, and updating PVD boards.

* Continuously improve through the KAS program, meeting departmental goals.

* Comply with all local, state, federal, and BD safety regulations, including RCRA Hazardous Waste regulations.

* Comply with BD quality policies and procedures through consistent application of sound quality assurance principles.

* Perform other duties as assigned.
