Join a leading medical device manufacturer as an Assembler 1, General in Sandy, UT. As a valued member of our production team, you will play a vital role in fabricating, assembling, and packaging life-saving medical products. This is a second-shift contract position (Monday-Thursday, 3:00 PM-1:00 AM) with competitive pay and hands-on training. No prior manufacturing experience required-start your career in an essential, high-growth industry!

Responsibilities

- Assemble, test, and package medical devices following standard operating procedures (SOPs) and quality standards
- Set up, operate, troubleshoot, and perform basic maintenance on production equipment
- Conduct quality inspections to ensure compliance with specifications
- Utilize basic measurement tools, including microscopes, for accuracy and precision
- Rotate between tasks and adapt to workflow needs
- Collaborate with team members and supervisors to meet production goals
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment
- Stand, walk, and sit for extended periods; occasionally lift up to 50 pounds

Required Skills and Experience

- High school diploma or equivalent preferred, not required
- Zero to one year of manufacturing or assembly experience
- Effective written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to read, interpret, and follow written specifications in English
- Basic math and measurement skills
- Strong attention to detail
- Dependability with regular, punctual attendance
- Team-oriented mindset and adaptability

Preferred Skills

- Experience in medical device assembly or quality inspections
- Familiarity with microscopes and precision measurement tools
