Shift: 1st Shift (6 AM – 6 PM)

Employment Type:

Contract (W2) – US Citizens, Green Card holders, or authorized workers.

Work Schedule:

2 on, 2 off, 3 on, 2 off, etc.

• Operate all material handling equipment such as electric forklifts, stretch wrappers, manual pallet jacks, and slip sheeters.
• Communicate effectively and possess strong math skills.
• Possess working knowledge of warehouse stock locator systems, bar‑code scanning, parts catalog, and computer systems.
• Move stock and rotate materials according to FIFO for incoming and outgoing material.
• Arrange material in the sterilizer/warehouse according to Kanban bin requirements.
• Load and unload trucks, and assist in company physical inventories and cycle counts.
• Work twelve‑hour shifts, including weekends.
• Prepare products for sterilization, including staging and spanning.
• Be physically and mentally capable of wearing full‑face respirators and gas masks.
• Support the Sterilization Supervisor and other specialists in daily operations and overall performance of the sterilizer.

• Verify quantities on production transfers, delivery records from departments, and freight bills of lading, noting any damage or shortages.
• Prepare products for manual and/or automated processing.
• For incoming raw materials or finished goods, prepare pallets, pull packing slips or product transfer records, and verify quantity, part number, PO number, and vendor lot number. If no packing slip, prepare a substitute.
• For outgoing product, verify quantities, lot numbers, and part numbers, prepare pallets with slip sheets, stretch wrap, and load, calculating correct cube and weights.
• Prep materials according to Kan Ban and bin system.
• Assist with paperwork and add spores to products to be sterilized.
• Safely operate pallet jacks, stretch wrappers, scales, cranes, bar‑code/RFID scanners, dock levelers/restrains, wheel chocks, and other equipment under prescribed regulations.
• Pass annual physical exam and full‑face respirator fit tests.
• Repair equipment as instructed by maintenance and troubleshoot failures.
• Assist with ethylene oxide emergencies if they occur.
• Maintain cycle counts, physical inventories of raw materials and finished goods as required.
• Maintain a neat and orderly work area.
• Comply with all local, state, federal, and client safety regulations, policies, and procedures, including RCRA hazardous waste regulations.
• Comply with all local client quality policies, procedures, and practices through consistent application of sound quality assurance principles.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

• Complete cycle counts daily.
• Participate in Continuous Improvement programs to improve sterilization production.
• Work in a manner that reduces lost time and safety incidents.
• Work in a manner that reduces errors.
• Attend mandatory work during semi‑annual shutdowns (July/December).

• Minimum Education:
  
  High School Diploma or equivalent GED. Strong communication, math, and computer skills required.
• Minimum Experience:
  
  Two years at a client, or one year of comparable outside warehouse experience.
• Maintain a good work and attendance record.
• Prior experience with forklifts and other material handling equipment.
