Job Summary
The Production Molding Operator – DMT I reports directly to an assigned Operations Leader and is responsible for material handling, conducting light product inspection and housekeeping activities for an assigned set of injection molding presses to supply downstream equipment with quality molded components, seeking assistance from technicians for any issues.
Responsibilities- Packaging, labeling, and handling of product and movement to specified locations.
- Perform limited product visual and manual inspections.
- Learn and maintain detailed knowledge of all products and quality specifications.
- Keep machinery, work area, and floors neat and orderly while following GMP requirements.
- Work optimally in a team with limited supervision.
- Understand and interpret controlled documents, including work instructions, procedures, and inspection forms.
- Notify CILL and DMT II’s of any equipment issues.
- Collaborate with molding team members to keep equipment running during breaks and callouts.
- Follow local BD quality policies, procedures, and practices with sound QA principles.
- Perform other duties as assigned.

- Education:
HS/GED degree required; equivalent experience considered. - Experience:
Prefer 0‑1 years in manufacturing, preferably injection molding presses (electric & hydraulic).
The position is located in a clean‑room or laboratory manufacturing environment. Typical tasks include standing, occasional sitting, bending, stooping, reaching, lifting up to 20lbs. (frequently 10lbs.), pushing/pulling up to 30lbs., and frequent repetitive motions. Exposure to moving mechanical equipment, temperature fluctuations, fumes, airborne particles, hazardous chemicals, cleaning compounds, solvents, and moderate to loud noise may occur. PPE such as safety glasses, face mask/shield, hearing protection, safety shoes, hair/beard net, and smock is required.
The incumbent must have vision corrected to 20/40 and adequate hearing.
B Shift – 12 hour rotating shift. A Shift – 7days in a 14‑day period (2 on, 3 off, 2 on, 2 off, 3 on, 2 off). Every other weekend is scheduled off.
