ScheduleD Shift
- 12-hour rotating shift (6:00 PM – 6:00 AM)
- Schedule:
7 days in a 14‑day period (2 on, 3 off, 2 on, 2 off, 3 on, 2 off – every other weekend is scheduled off)
- Certify to operate multiple processes or grouping of equipment on high speed automated or semi‑automated manufacturing equipment.
- Participate in all equipment changeovers or set‑ups.
- Monitor assigned processes to ensure high quality production.
- Respond to machine faults and restore to normal operation.
- Participate in autonomous maintenance to maintain assigned equipment/area.
- Regular and predictable attendance and punctuality is required per the BD attendance policy.
- Maintain equipment and a clean area by performing tasks such as sweeping, mopping, and wiping down equipment.
- Maintain an open line of communication to ensure all problems/changes are communicated and resolved in a timely manner.
- Maintain accurate records as required following good documentation practices (GDP).
- Participate in root cause analysis to identify and resolve issues as needed.
- Participate in tier 1 shifts’ start‑up meetings, 5S, and Kaizen events.
- Comply with all local, state, federal, and BD safety regulations, policies, and procedures including RCRA Hazardous waste regulations.
- Comply with all local BD quality policies, procedures, and practices through consistent application of sound quality assurance principles.
- Support and maintain a safe working environment including the submission of employee safety observations (ESO).
- Other duties as assigned.
- Ability to get along with people and work in a team environment.
- Willingness to rotate into different tasks and responsibilities as needed.
- Ability to train other associates as needed.
- Ability to identify production issues and clearly communicate to support functions.
- Willing to work overtime as needed.
Required Education
High School Diploma/GED or 1‑year consecutive work experience.
