- Own Layton's content strategy across video, photography, web, and written channels, ensuring every asset is linked to a market positioning goal or an active pursuit.
- Build and maintain an intake system that turns pursuit intelligence into a prioritized production schedule.
- Field and triage inbound content requests, aligning them with active pursuit priorities and market goals.
- Decide format and production timing; brief resources clearly and keep the production calendar visible.
- Lead and manage a team of two video producers and one photography coordinator, ensuring well‑briefed, strategically grounded, on‑time delivery.
- Travel to project sites to lead major productions (client testimonials, executive interviews, on‑camera content).
- Build and maintain a proof‑point library and a repurposing framework for maximum asset reuse.
- Oversee freelance video and photography vendors as needed.
- Serve as the day‑to‑day contact for our digital agency, translating pursuit priorities into campaign direction and approving content calendars.
- Own and maintain Layton's website, ensuring the portfolio is current and the site functions as a credibility tool.
- Report directly to the Marketing & Communications Director and work closely with communications, creative services, events, HR, and safety teams to align content with broader initiatives.
- Partner with internal and external stakeholders to ensure consistent brand representation across all content.
- 6+ years in content strategy, marketing, or production management; senior individual contributor or team lead experience preferred.
- Proven experience leading creative teams and managing video or photography production.
- Strong editorial instincts and ability to brief stories that support business development goals.
- Comfortable on set and on job sites, capable of putting people at ease on camera.
- Experience managing or partnering with external agencies or vendors, owning briefs and performance reporting.
- Skill in building intake processes, editorial calendars, and content libraries.
- Strong project management skills, juggling multiple work streams.
- Experience managing websites on Word Press or similar CMS platforms.
- Deep understanding of content in B2B, long‑cycle, relationship‑driven markets.
- Excellent communication skills, synthesizing priorities from BD teams and senior stakeholders into clear creative briefs.
- B2B marketing experience required.
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, Digital Media, or related field.
- Construction, AEC, or professional services industry experience.
- Familiarity with capture planning processes and pursuit‑based marketing methodologies.
- Experience with paid social or digital advertising agencies.
- Knowledge of social media platforms and organic content strategy.
- Experience with video production workflows and post‑production processes.
- On‑camera interview or documentary‑style production experience.
- Experience with , Asana, or similar project management tools.
- Familiarity with Adobe Creative Suite.
- Experience building or managing a content asset library for sales enablement.
