• Current and active RN license
• Experience in a school setting preferred, but not required
• Ability to assess, triage, and respond to medical emergencies with professionalism and calm
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills for working closely with students, staff, and families
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• Commitment to upholding confidentiality and ethical standards in all student health matters

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide care to students with acute and chronic health concerns, administering medication, treatments, and first aid as needed
• Document health records accurately and maintain compliance with state and district health protocols
• Collaborate with educators, counselors, and families to develop individualized health care plans
• Deliver education to students and staff on wellness, hygiene, and disease prevention
• Respond promptly to health-related emergencies throughout the school day
• Participate in IEP/504 plan meetings when appropriate
