Role Description The Registered Nurse role at RMCare Talent Solutions is a full-time, on-site position based in Salt Lake City, UT. The nurse will work in our skilled nursing facilities providing direct patient care, including assessments, care planning, interventions, and evaluations in accordance with clinical standards and facility policies. Day-to-day responsibilities include administering medications and treatments, monitoring patient status, documenting accurately in the medical record, and collaborating with interdisciplinary team members.

The role involves educating patients and families about conditions, treatments, and discharge plans, as well as promoting safety, infection control, and quality improvement initiatives. The Registered Nurse will also participate in shift handoffs, respond to changes in patient condition, and support a respectful and inclusive care environment.

Qualifications

  • Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Utah and graduation from an accredited nursing program (Associate or Bachelor's degree in Nursing).
  • Clinical competence in patient assessment, care planning, medication administration, and documentation within acute, post-acute, or similar healthcare settings.
  • Strong communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills to work effectively with patients, families, and multidisciplinary teams.
  • Ability to prioritize, manage time, and adapt to changing patient needs in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
  • Knowledge of infection prevention, patient safety standards, and adherence to regulatory and facility policies and procedures.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required;
    Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) or other relevant certifications preferred.
  • Comfort using e health records (EHR) and related clinical technology for documentation and information retrieval.
