Part-time Cook needed to help complete our team at an independent senior living facility in Sandy.

Our community is looking for a Cook to join our team.

• Prepare hot and cold menu items which may require working on the grill, sauté station, salad-bar and on the service line
• Ensure proper preparation, portioning and serving of foods as indicated on the menu cycle and the standardized recipes
• Taste and determine quality and palatability of prepared foods

• Previous experience in senior living, restaurants, catering, or banquets preferred
• Experience with production methods, portion control and food handling safety required
• Great organizational skills
• Strong communication skills
• Attention to detail and presentation of food product
• Must be able to work weekends
