Store Associate

Position Summary

Retail Store Associate helps customers and performs cashier, stocking, pharmacy support and open/close tasks within CVS Health retail environment. Works both independently and as part of a team.

• Providing differentiated customer service by anticipating customer needs, demonstrating compassion and care, and actively resolving potential service issues.
• Greeting customers warmly, maintaining eye contact, and offering help locating items when needed.
• Accurately handling cashier duties—cash, checks, and credit card transactions—while following company policies.
• Maintaining the sales floor by restocking shelves, checking in vendors, updating pricing information, and completing inventory management tasks as directed by the store manager.
• Supporting opening and closing store activities as required.
• Providing customer support to all departments—including photo and beauty—to keep them stocked and operational while staying current with updated services and tools.
• Assisting pharmacy personnel when needed, including working regular shifts in the pharmacy as part of growth opportunities.
• Advocating for new CVS services and loyalty programs that support members’ health journey.

• Remaining upright on feet for sustained periods.
• Lifting and exerting up to 35 lbs occasionally, 10 lbs frequently, and lesser amounts regularly to move objects including overhead lifting.
• Maintaining good visual acuity for tasks such as viewing computer terminals, reading, and visual inspection of small parts or details.

• Age 16 or older.

• Previous experience in a retail or customer service setting.

High School Diploma or Equivalent preferred but not required.

Pay Range: $15.00 - $22.00 per hour.
