October through April (Full-Time)

Pay: $22.00 – $25.00/hour (DOE) + Monthly Bonus Potential (Up to $6,780 total)

Are you ready to lead one of the busiest winter resort hubs in the Salt Lake Valley? Ski ‘N See Southtowne is looking for an energetic, people-first Seasonal Store Manager to run our high-volume retail and rental operations this season. Positioned perfectly on the gateway route to Big and Little Cottonwood Canyons, our Southtowne shop is the premier destination for locals and tourists heading to Snowbird, Alta, Brighton, and Solitude.

In this high-visibility leadership role, your primary focus is driving an elite customer experience by leading, coaching, and empowering your team. You’ll cultivate a high-energy team culture, ensure seamless shop operations, and help every customer gear up for peak days on the snow.

• Team Leadership:
  Train, coach, and mentor staff on technical service standards, boot fitting, gear rentals, and retail sales techniques.
• Store Operations:
  Drive daily operations, optimize scheduling to match peak morning traffic, and stay within payroll targets.
• Inventory & Merchandising:
  Maintain shop floor visual standards, oversee daily inventory control, keep pricing accurate, and fulfill online store gear picks.
• Performance & Growth:
  Motivate your crew to exceed sales targets and collaborate closely with regional operations managers to refine shop strategies.

• Experience:
  
  2+ years of leadership in retail, rental, outdoor industry, or hospitality management.
• Leadership Style:
  High-energy motivator who thrives in fast-paced retail and leads by example on the floor.
• Availability:
  Full-time commitment from now through April, including weekends, evenings, and holiday periods (our busiest times).
