Job Details
Full‑time, hybrid (2‑5 days per week). Must reside in or near Salt Lake City, Utah to manage local client relationships and maximize sales opportunities. Travel is primarily local to schools and organizations within the territory (2‑5+ days a week); occasional out‑of‑area and overnight travel may be required.
Responsibilities- Provide consultative customer service to coaches across the assigned territory, striving to make their lives easier.
- Generate revenue and meet sales/growth targets.
- Actively develop and qualify leads within the territory to drive additional sales opportunities through cold‑calling and lead‑generation campaigns.
- Resilience to handle rejection and persistence to turn challenges into opportunities.
- Navigate multiple functions within the company’s CRM, including prospecting, account management, and activity tracking to support sales and customer relationships.
- Increase sales in existing accounts by selling to all sports at all levels.
- Utilize data‑driven business intelligence on prospects to identify new trends and opportunities.
- Manage your account list and travel on location within the assigned territory.
- Demonstrate a high level of self‑direction and autonomy in managing tasks, projects, and responsibilities.
- Excellent problem‑solving, organizational, and multi‑tasking skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
- Strong time‑management skills and ability to prioritize tasks to meet deadlines.
- Intermediate skills in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and CRM.
- Experience:
3+ years of B2B outside sales (preferably in sporting goods) or coaching/sports‑related background. - Education:
Associate’s degree or equivalent work experience; bachelor’s degree preferred. - Must have and maintain a reliable vehicle, valid driver’s license, auto insurance, and a satisfactory driving record.
- Physical requirements:
ability to sit, stand, bend, lift, and drive for prolonged periods as part of a hybrid work environment.
