Retail Territory Manager – Salt Lake City, Utah (Remote/Field Based)
As a Retail Territory Manager, you will be part of the Retail Sales team working remotely in Salt Lake City, Utah. You will manage a territory of Home Depot and Lowes accounts or a combination of these accounts. You will be responsible for managing your retail accounts and managing your daily activities including retail account visits. In this role, you will be responsible for analyzing metrics in Sales Force, Power BI, and Show Pad to strategically map out your customer routing schedule.
Responsibilities- Driving top‑line sales to deliver quarterly and annual POS goals.
- Partnering with store and district managers to align strategies with retail‑specific goals.
- Analyzing POS by store and promotional performance to develop individualized store and territory sales plans.
- Working closely with the Sales Operations team to ensure inventory for promotional activities.
- Driving execution strategy based on trends and SKU‑level detail.
- Implementing national event and over‑drive strategies to promote product sell‑through.
- Engaging store and district key decision makers to convey key initiatives and customize solutions.
- Partnering with retail service partners for monthly district meetings, quality walks, and corrective actions.
- Leveraging sales‑enablement tools to analyze data and close sales gaps.
- Managing inventory and retailer‑specific order writing with retail partners and developing exit strategies for special buy promotions.
- Establishing, developing, and maintaining key relationships with professional end‑users (Pro) through product and services solutions.
- Executing monthly job‑site visits aligned with retailers’ pro strategies.
- Effectively managing budgets (T&E, Demo Tool, etc.) to drive profitability.
- Maintaining compliance with drug test and MVR requirements.
- 3‑5 years of retail sales experience in the consumer goods industry.
- Willingness to travel regionally and work occasional weekends (8‑10 annually).
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical labor such as climbing ladders and standing for several hours.
- Experience analyzing Power BI and Sales Force data to develop strategic growth plans.
- Understanding of IT business systems (BW, , Tool Commerce) and Microsoft applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Ability to handle, train on, and demonstrate products.
- Must pass drug test & MVR.
The total target cash compensation range for this position is $56,000.00 – $90,200.00, inclusive of base salary and target variable cash compensation. Benefits include:
