Wasatch Truck Equipment is hiring an experienced Tow Truck Builder / Mechanic to join our growing team. If you have hands-on experience with truck upfitting, hydraulics, or fabrication, this is a great opportunity to work on specialized equipment in a solid, fast-paced shop.
What You’ll Do:- Install and assemble tow truck bodies (wreckers, carriers)
- Perform mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic installations
- Diagnose and repair towing equipment
- Fabricate and modify components as needed
- Ensure builds meet safety and quality standards
- Experience as a mechanic, fabricator, or truck upfitter
- Knowledge of hydraulics, wiring, and heavy‑duty truck systems
- Welding experience is a big plus
- Ability to read schematics and follow build specs
- Strong work ethic and attention to detail
