Chrysalis is seeking to hire a full‑time Residential Care Manager for In‑Home Caregiving. This entry‑level swing‑shift position starts at a competitive wage of $19.50‑$22.50 per hour, depending on experience. Summary of Responsibilities

The House Manager oversees the day‑to‑day operation of the residential program by supervising, instructing, modeling, and assisting Residential Support Staff. They maintain a high level of quality, implement person‑centered plans, ensure medical, financial, and recreational needs are met, and maintain appropriate staff ratios and training. They coordinate with school, state workers, family, therapist, court, and placement, and they ensure staff support individuals to gain greater independence by applying the five Chrysalis values:
Respect, Safety, Fun, Mentoring, and Accountability.

Minimum Qualifications

• 20 years of age or older; high school diploma or GED; experience in the disability field; superior verbal and written communication; supervisory skills; ability to prioritize work; accurate program documentation; good judgment and crisis management; public relations skills; flexible schedule; ability to manage personnel and program issues; continuous improvement of program quality and profitability.

Desired Requirements
  • Experience and/or equivalent education working with handicapped individuals.
  • Knowledge of person‑centered plans and ability to develop and write effective goals.
  • Experience supervising employees.
  • Understanding of DSPD policies.
  • Good judgment and crisis‑management skills.
  • Strong general writing skills and ability to articulate oneself on a variety of issues.
  • Ability to understand and manage personnel issues and interact with staff positively.
  • Conduct house meetings and attend manager meetings.
  • Computer skills.
  • Good public‑relations skills when working with a variety of medical, professional, and state employees.
  • Flexible schedule to accommodate people’s needs.
  • Ability to balance financial statements and maintain financial folders.
