Java Software Engineer

POSITION: Java Software Engineer
- Digital Banking

SALARY: $63.66 per hour

DURATION: 12-Months + Extensions.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE:

-Overall 7+ years' software engineering experience primarily using Java, Spring Boot and No

SQL databases.

-Bachelor's degree in engineering or related field.

-Java certification is a plus.

-Must have demonstrated proficiency and experience in the following tools and technologies:

• Java 11 (Lambdas, Streams, Completable Future, Optional and Generics)
• Spring Boot (Web Flux , Reactor
  3), Spring Data, and JVM.
• Java functional and reactive programming.
• REST APIs using Spring Boot 2.0 (reactive) and skilled in Open API (Swagger) specification.
• Working knowledge of cloud technologies (e.g. Docker, Kubernetes, Jager, Prometheus).
• Modern software engineering tools:
  Git Workflows, Gradle, load testing tools, mock frameworks.
• Test Driven Development.
• Good knowledge of messaging systems like Kafka, MQ, and similar.

SUMMARY:

As a Java Software Engineer, you will be responsible for building enterprise-scale, cutting-edge technology frameworks that facilitate developer productivity without compromising on quality. We are building a digital banking platform that enables teams to create products at scale and delivers compelling experiences in a dramatically faster fashion.

Responsibilities Include:

• Design and develop the solution design and implementation of core platform features in Java.
• API Design and Implementation using REST API standards.
• Provide operational support with building platform monitoring tools/dashboards and ad hoc reports.
• Defect Fixes, Performance Testing and Endurance testing.
• Designing database schemas, index design and optimizations for query tuning.
• Writing good/clean code and perform peer code reviews and architecture reviews.

Compensation:

$63.66 per hour

Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education.

Employees in this role will enjoy a comprehensive benefits package starting on day one of employment, including options for medical, dental, and vision insurance. Eligibility to enroll in the 401(k)-retirement plan begins after 90 days of employment. Additionally, employees in this role will have access to paid sick leave and other paid time off benefits as required under the applicable law of the worksite location.
