Warehouse Associate​/Driver

Position Overview

Helix Electric has a need for a dynamic Warehouse Associate / Driver. The successful candidate will support a production‑driven team.

• Manage warehouse receiving and shipping
• Manage warehouse inventory
• Manage process and procedures for receiving and shipping
• Practice safe driving habits
• Safely haul materials and equipment to jobsites
• Utilize defensive driving practices
• Maintain an alert awareness of potential jobsite hazards
• Employ efficient delivery practices
• Maintain a sense of urgency throughout the day to deliver materials and equipment safely and efficiently
• Observe, inspect, and report equipment or mechanical failures immediately
• Keep a clean driving record

• Work in all weather conditions depending on job location and season—heat, cold, rain, snow
• Wear personal protective equipment (hard hat, safety glasses, gloves always); respirator when required
• Work 8–10 hours per day, 40 hours per week, with overtime and night shifts as required
• Perform essential functions including crawling, standing, stooping, bending, crouching, kneeling, sitting, reaching, and routinely lift heavy objects in excess of 50 pounds; push and pull objects as required
• Use arms, hands, and fingers repetitively
• Physical work constitutes more than 70% of the job
