Precast Estimator | Preconstruction & Value Engineering

This role will be responsible for preparing detailed cost estimates, competitive bid proposals, and conceptual budgets for commercial precast concrete elements and hardscape projects.

• Prepare accurate and timely estimates for commercial precast and hardscape projects.
• Analyze construction drawings, specifications, bid invitations, addenda, and related project documentation.
• Develop quantity takeoffs and pricing using estimating software and industry standards.
• Review and interpret CSI Divisions 3 and 4 specifications and scope requirements.
• Prepare detailed bid proposals, clarifications, exclusions, alternates, and value-engineering recommendations.
• Collaborate with operations, project management, vendors, subcontractors, and clients throughout the bidding process.
• Maintain subcontractor and supplier relationships to support accurate and competitive pricing.
• Assist in mentoring junior estimators and supporting continuous improvement within the estimating department.

• Minimum of 3 years of estimating experience in commercial construction, precast concrete, masonry, or related trades preferred.
• Experience with conceptual estimating, budgeting, and negotiated work is highly desirable.
• Proven ability to prepare complete bid packages and manage projects through the preconstruction phase.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, On-Screen Takeoff, Titan 3000 and other construction estimating/modeling software.
