Position SummaryThe Roofing Production Foreman is a hands‑on leadership role responsible for leading crews in the field and ensuring commercial roofing projects are completed safely, efficiently, and to Advanced Roofing’s quality standards. This position is ideal for an experienced roofer who takes pride in craftsmanship, enjoys leading people, and wants direct ownership of jobsite success.
As a Roofing Production Foreman, you are the daily driver of production, safety, and quality on the roof. You work closely with Construction Managers, Quality Control, and field crews to keep projects on schedule, maintain high workmanship standards, and deliver a finished product that meets or exceeds expectations.
Key Responsibilities- Coordinate with Construction Managers and Project Managers to ensure all projects are completed and/or scheduled.
- Provide timely and quality installation of all assigned Roofing projects in the field.
- Coordinate the delivery and ordering of all materials required for the completion of a specific project (i.e., Materials, dump switch outs, subs, inspections, A/C and equipment).
- Review to ensure accuracy and timely completion of all invoices, receipts, time sheets, and order forms.
- Ensure customer satisfaction on a daily basis through direct contact.
- Fill out, collect, and review time sheets.
- Review and track budgets (% of complete vs. budgeted), labor man days, materials used.
- Analyze organizational operating practices or procedures.
- Oversee work progress to verify safety or conformance to standards.
- Assign work to employees.
- Orient new employees on equipment use, maintenance, safety, lay‑out and fabrication.
- Attend or conduct pre‑planning, pre‑construction, and staff meetings.
- Conduct training for personnel.
- Prepare safety reports ensuring public safety and adherence to advanced roofing safety plan.
- Recommend purchase or repair of equipment.
- Coordinate through subordinate supervisory personnel.
- Recommend personnel actions, such as promotions, transfers, and dismissals.
- Plan or organize work including 5‑day planner, emergency weather planning, work orders, punch list completion, and finals.
- Inspect project operations on site and read specifications to determine specification compliance.
- Direct and coordinate activities of workers or staff.
- Perform safety inspections in construction.
- Estimate materials or labor requirements.
- Read technical drawings and knowledge of code requirements.
- Read work order, instructions, formulas, or processing charts.

- High school or equivalent.
- 5 years’ experience with repair on various roofing systems: EPDM, TPO, PVC, Modified Systems, Metal, American Hydrotech, Liquid Membrane and Flashing or Built up.
- Minimum 18 years of age.
- Valid driver’s license and insurable driving record.
- Successful Pre‑Employment Drug test.
- Comfortable climbing ladders up to 60 ft tall.
- Ability to lift 100 lbs or more.
- Expertise in roof inspection, leak detection, and troubleshooting highly desired.
- Willing to be trained and use company software (Experience with FCS software is a plus).
