We are seeking an experienced Professional Land Surveyor / Survey Manager to lead our surveying operations and support field and office activities throughout all phases of site development construction. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, extensive experience in construction layout, and a thorough understanding of surveying principles, boundary determination, and project coordination.

• Manage and oversee daily survey operations for multiple construction projects
• Supervise and mentor survey crews while ensuring quality and accuracy
• Perform and review construction layout for site development, utilities, roadways, grading, and structures
• Review construction plans, engineering drawings, and specifications to develop accurate layout data
• Coordinate survey activities with project managers, superintendents, engineers, and clients
• Prepare and review boundary, topographic, as-built, and ALTA/NSPS surveys
• Ensure compliance with applicable state regulations and surveying standards
• Maintain survey equipment, GPS systems, robotic total stations, and data collectors
• Assist with project planning, scheduling, and quality control
• Sign and seal survey documents as required

• Active Florida Professional Surveyor and Mapper (PSM) license (Required)
• Proven experience in land surveying, construction layout, and site development
• Strong knowledge of GPS, robotic total stations, data collectors, and survey software
• Ability to read and interpret construction plans, engineering drawings, plats, and legal descriptions
• Experience managing survey crews and coordinating multiple projects
• Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications

• 5+ years of experience in land surveying and construction layout
• Experience managing survey operations within a civil construction or site development company
• Experience with surveying software such as Trimble Business Center, Carlson Survey, AutoCAD Civil 3D, Micro Station, or similar
• Knowledge of local construction practices and permitting requirements throughout Central Florida
