Storage Customer Service Representative

U-Haul is seeking a friendly, motivated Storage Customer Service Representative to join our support team. The role involves interacting with customers, inspecting and maintaining equipment, and using technology to dispatch and return equipment. This position offers on-the-job education.

• Support the site manager with facility operations.
• Answer phone inquiries from active and prospective customers.
• Show storage units, explain rental agreements and prepare contracts.
• Perform general routine property cleanup and minor repair work.
• Keep vacant units clean, dry, secure and ready for new customers.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
• Participate in ongoing U‑Haul education through U‑Haul University.

• Driver’s license and a clean driving record.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Availability to work weekends and holidays.

The role involves moderate risks requiring safety precautions, such as working around moving parts, machines, fumes or chemicals; protective clothing, masks, goggles or gloves may be required.

Requires some physical exertion, including long periods indoors and outdoors, remaining stationary, traversing spaces, repositioning to use tools, and moving up to 50 lbs (assisted or unassisted).
