This Level III facility provides outpatient and clinic-based pulmonology services with the clinical infrastructure necessary to support specialized respiratory care delivery. The facility maintains 2 respiratory therapists on staff to support day-to-day clinical operations. Locum tenens coverage is sought beginning in November on an ongoing basis to meet the pulmonology care needs of the adult population served.

Michigan offers a range of natural and historic attractions for clinicians on assignment. The Upper Peninsula features destinations such as Pictured Rocks National Lakeshore, Sleeping Bear Dunes, Tahquamenon Falls, and the Porcupine Mountains. Mackinac Island provides a distinctive car-free environment where visitors may explore by bike or horse-drawn carriage, and family-oriented attractions such as Fort Michilimackinac, the Mackinaw icebreaker museum ship, Jack Pine Lumberjack Shows, and Historic Mill Creek Discovery Park are accessible throughout the region.

The pulmonologist will provide clinic-based pulmonology services for adult patients Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, in an outpatient and clinic setting. Clinical responsibilities include evaluation and management of pulmonary conditions in accordance with established outpatient protocols. Call coverage is negotiable as part of this assignment. Board certification in Pulmonary Disease and prescriptive authority are required for all clinicians in this role.

Case Load/PPD: 20 per day
