We are currently seeking a professional, dependable, and experienced Lead Teacher to join our early childhood education team. The Lead Teacher will be responsible for creating a nurturing, safe, and developmentally appropriate learning environment while leading daily classroom operations and supporting children’s overall growth and development.

Key responsibilities
  • Plan and implement age-appropriate lesson plans and classroom activities, including routines, transitions, and behavior management practices.
  • Maintain a safe, clean, organized, and engaging classroom environment, where every child feels respected, valued, and supported.
  • Supervise children and ensure their health, safety, and well-being at all times.
  • Foster children’s curiosity, creativity, and love of learning through intentional teaching practices and hands-on experiences.
  • Monitor and document children’s progress and developmental milestones.
  • Promote positive behavior and guide children using respectful and constructive approaches.
  • Adapt teaching methods and materials to meet the interests and learning styles of children.
  • Supervise and mentor assistant teachers and classroom staff.
  • Complete daily reports and classroom documentation.
  • Ensure compliance with all state licensing regulations and center policies.
  • Communicate professionally and effectively with parents, staff, and administration.
Qualifications
  • Child Development Associate (CDA) credential (required).
  • Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education or related field (preferred).
  • Have completed 40 hours of Department of Children and Families child care training (required).
  • Previous experience in a licensed childcare or preschool setting required.
  • Strong knowledge of early childhood education practices and classroom management.
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and leadership skills.
  • Proficient in using digital tools to document developmental progress and conduct ongoing assessments.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team‑oriented environment.
  • Must successfully complete all required background screening and training requirements.

Full‑time, Monday through Friday, 8 hour shift (7 am – 4 pm).
